After his training in General Surgery and certificate of proficiency in Cardiac Surgery, he followed a specialization in the Cleveland Clinic Foundation (USA) and The Toronto Hospital (Canada).
Today, he is one of the leading specialists in minimally invasive surgery and co-director at the Heart Center Aalst and director Minimal Invasive Cardiac Surgery at the Cardiovascular Center of the AZORG Clinic, Aalst.
